Here at Baby and Mumma Gifts, we are all about new mum hampers! When I first started this business, there were lots of other baby gift companies around, making lovely little hampers filled with gift items for babies. There were florists and other companies sending out beautiful flower arrangements and gifts for babies to new parents. Mums-to-be were also having baby showers and getting showered with beautiful gifts for their new babies. But there were so few businesses catering to the needs of the new mums. All these gifts were made just for babies, and the new mums didn’t have anything special for themselves. This is the reasoning behind starting Baby and Mumma Gifts. I wanted to create gifts that were meaningful and special for new mums.

This is the original hamper that started it all. This hamper was curated carefully by myself when my baby was only a few months old. I thought about all the beautiful gifts I received, and the items that were so special, and used so frequently by me during those early days of having a baby. With all this in mind, I created the beautiful new mum hamper which you see here. Included in this beautiful hamper is just what a new mum needs:

When designing this hamper, I selected items that I appreciated as a new mum to help me with self-care and relaxation. I also recognised that many of our other hampers had breastfeeding products, and not every new mum breastfeeds. That’s why I created this gorgeous hamper filled with products for mums that will be appreciated no matter the feeding method used. Candle: who doesn’t love a scented candle? Our candles are made by an Australian company called At Our House, and they are beautifully scented with baby and mumma-themed essential oils.
Stretched to the limit belly oil: Belly oil is lovely for hydrating and moisturising skin to assist with stretch marks or dryness. This one is made by Aromababy in Melbourne and is lovely in our new mum hampers.
Handmade scrunchie: This adds a lovely handmade touch, and is something practical that the new mum in your life will use every day.
